Location: Windsor, ON (Other CA locations will be considered)
Position Type: Full Time - Exempt
Job Description: The HUB Buyer will have responsibility for the procurement of all non-commodity goods and services for all ADM entities affiliated with -including stock and non-stock items. This position resides in the Windsor office.
Responsibilities
- Issue RFQ for purchases
- Responsible for negotiating short terms agreements
- Manage Purchase Order queries for all purchase orders issued weekly, including acknowledgement and overdue queries. Proper management includes periodic review (at a minimum weekly) and performing required actions.
- Follow up with Vendors as Required.
- Follow up with ADM Purchase Requisition writers as required.
- Follow up with Warehouse personnel as required.
- Support the implementation of Strategic Sourcing contracts.
