This role manages purchasing activities for sheet metal, machined components, weldments, and critical-path items, while coordinating closely with internal manufacturing, external vendors, and project management teams.

+ Review engineering releases and categorize parts by type, material, and finish.
+ Determine in-house vs. outsourced production with the machine shop.
+ Prepare bid packages and obtain competitive quotes from vendors.
+ Evaluate quotes, award work, and create purchase orders in the ERP system.
