Job Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and operating supply.
- Maintaining relations with the suppliers.
- Raise purchase orders to approved manufacturers based on planned demand.
- Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List.
- Correspondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation.
- Checking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List.
- Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and production demand and build plan.
- Provide the JIT schedule for the suppliers.
- Investigation inventory levels to ensure no discrepancy, aging and obsolete materials.
