Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Buyer.
Qualifications Matric Diploma in Purchasing Management. A Bachelor’s degree would be preferred. 6+ years in a Technical Buying environment. Driver’s license is essential. Responsibilities Facilitate sea, air and inland shipping and coordinate deliveries that includes sea, air & inland shipping. Ensure that all relevant Shipping Documents are received from Suppliers. Manage the R2 P process by monitoring the ageing of the opening orderbook. Ensure correct Procurement strategy to be followed, Meet B-BBEE and Local Supplier targets and understand the criteria for B-BBEE. Ensure newly sourced suppliers meet B-BBEE compliance. Compliance to the Medius and company Supplier Portal. Expediting of delivery of purchase orders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
