Vickerstock are working in partnership with an international manufacturing & engineering business with a strong market presence here in Northern Ireland. Our client are looking for a Buyer to join their growing supply chain team to report directly to the Purchasing Manager.
As the Buyer, you will procure raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies in line with production schedules and business requirements while collaborating closely with production to ensure manufacturing resources are utilised efficiently and to their full capacity.
Duties
- Take ownership of purchasing activities for a designated production area, while providing support to other areas as required.
- Purchase consumables, non-production materials, supplies, and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner.
