Overview
A butcher is responsible for preparing and processing meat for sale, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Meat Preparation: Cutting, trimming, and deboning meat into standard cuts for sale.
- Processing: Grinding meat, making sausages, or preparing specialty cuts as needed.
- Customer Service: Interacting with customers, answering questions, and taking orders.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring fresh products are available.
- Safety and Hygiene: Maintaining cleanliness in the work area, following food safety protocols, and ensuring proper storage of meat products.
Qualifications
- All genders are welcome
- Trustworthy and with a pleasing personality
- High School Graduate, ALS, Senior/Junior High or HIGHER
- With experience is a plus or without experience as long as willing to be trained
