Responsibilities
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. They should have a deep knowledge of different cuts of meat, proper storage techniques, and excellent customer service skills.
- Cut, trim, bone, and portion various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb.
- Grind, weigh, wrap, and package meat for sale or delivery.
- Maintain sharp tools and operate meat-cutting machinery safely.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meat products to prevent spoilage.
Qualifications
- Must be at least high school graduate
- Trustworthy and with pleasing personality
- Good with customer service is an edge
