Job Description
The Licensing Team is responsible for licensing of hackney carriage/private hire, Licensing Act, Gambling Act and all other general licensing in Kirklees and the role involves processing all types of licensing applications received via post and electronically. There is also the requirement for the post holder to complete the finance work created by licensing applications, as well as taking minutes, sending out communications and other administrative functions.
The service is a customer focused environment, the team is busy, and demand led, and the Business Support Officer role is vital as it is the first point of access to the service for customers, and to ensure service delivery.
There is a requirement to work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the service and the successful candidate be expected to work in the office on a rota basis, this is due to the service offering a front facing service for hackney carriage / private hire customers. Our office is curr...
