Job Overview

Evaluate, manage and approve complex credit risk within the area of responsibility by providing advice, recommendations and support to internal stakeholders through the implementation of group credit mandates, risk frameworks and methodologies. Provide coaching and mentoring to relevant internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Credit risk assessment: analyse complex financial statements and cash flows; understand industry‑specific risks and macroeconomic factors.
• Financial analysis: assess borrower repayment capacity using financial ratios, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow analysis.
• Decision‑making and judgement: approve or decline credit applications, balancing risk and reward while aligning with the bank’s risk appetite; structure credit facilities to mitigate risk.
