Role Responsibilities Overview:
Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, Africa, the Business Development Manager will accelerate growth across our South Africa Inland region and broader African markets.
Business Growth & Sales
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across the region
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent revenue growth
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract agreements
Account Management
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers
- Grow existing accounts through cross‑sell and upsell opportunities
- Deliver regular business reviews and performance updates
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across pharma and biotech organisations
