Job Description
Become a key player in HR as a People Services Advisor in Burnaby, B.C. This full-time hybrid role specializes in employee relations, contract management, and HR compliance.
Reporting to the Director of Labour Relations, the People Services Advisor will manage an array of employee relations queries, performance management issues, and contract administration tasks. You will also ensure compliance with HR policies and collective agreements while initiating HR projects to adopt best industry practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations portfolio and provide advice
• Support managers with performance and attendance management
• Monitor compliance with labour agreements and policies
• Respond to HR inquiries and lead special projects
• Conduct research for best HR practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management
• Relevant experience in a unionized HR environment
