Work Setting: Factory or plant; Service Repair; Maintenance; Machine set-up; Machinery installation; Overhaul Tasks
Responsibilities
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Installing machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
