Job Description
An established RBCA are currently recruiting for a self-sufficient Class 2 A / B Registered Building Inspector to oversee residential developments in the vicinity of Norfolk.
Building Inspector responsibilities
- Check plans for compliance with Building Regulations, structural warranty criteria, and associated guidance
- Undertake inspection of works and produce detailed inspection records
- Issue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificates
- Ensure inspections have been carried out, with appropriate certification submitted, and that defects/non-conformities have been addressed prior to issuing final certificate
- Operate in accordance with QMS procedures
- Provide mentoring and support for trainee surveyors
- Attend client meetings as required
