Budget Analyst

Summary The position is vital within the Office of Research and Development (ORD) and the facilities where research programs are conducted in Phoenix, AZ at the VA Medical Center. The primary purpose of this position is to perform specific budgetary functions associated with all aspects of the Research Service fiscal program in conjunction with the Administrative Officer (AO) and the Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) for Research. Responsibilities The Budget Analyst performs specific budgetary functions associated with all aspects of the Research Service fiscal program in conjunction with the AO and ACOS for Research. This requires the ability to develop routine budgetary plans, projections, and reports, and to interpret information received from ORD, the individual VA Research programs, Fiscal Service, and other sources.
