Job Description

Become a Sexual and Gender Diversity Advisor at Brock University, focusing on creating inclusive environments for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. This role emphasizes development, monitoring, and guidance on anti-oppressive strategies.
As a central point of contact, you will address systemic discrimination and support individuals affected by homophobia and transphobia. By identifying trends and proactively addressing issues, you will contribute to the community's commitment to equity. Your expertise in human rights will guide critical initiatives on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the university's anti-oppression and inclusion efforts
• Analyze and respond to incidents of discrimination
• Provide information on available support resources
• Develop training on gender diversity and inclusion
• Compile reports to enhance institutional response
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant advocacy experience
• Strong knowledge of anti-oppression frameworks
