Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION
: The bookkeeper provides administrative and financial support to the principal. Reporting to the principal, the bookkeeper serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders relating to school expenses while maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial operations of the school. The bookkeeper organizes and coordinates the processing of approved purchases and financial transactions for the school and supports special projects and initiatives. The Bookkeeper must have the ability to work independently on projects and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of time-sensitive activities and confidential matters with discretion.Receives, writes receipts for, counts, and verifies money for various activities.
Prepares deposits in accordance with school and district procedures.
