The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with a focus on maintaining and repairing equipment in a mining plant setting.
Responsibilities:
– Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
– Fabricating and repairing metal components for plant equipment
– Performing routine maintenance and inspections on machinery
– Welding and cutting metal using various techniques
– Conducting quality control checks on finished products
– Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
Requirements:
– Trade certificate as a Boilermaker and Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
