Your Opportunity

As a member of the Clinical Engineering North Zone team, the Biomedical Equipment Technician II is responsible for the management of technology including technical support, repairs and preventative maintenance for complex medical equipment and systems to ensure patient and staff safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritization, scheduling, and management of assigned workload.


• Ensures clinical and non‑clinical equipment meets pertinent safety, performance and technical standards and that it is performing to technical and clinical specifications; prepares appropriate documentation.


• Operation of the Clinical Engineering computerized maintenance management system (CMMS/eFacilities), utilizing computer skills for inputting and retrieval of equipment history, and generation of computerized work orders and reports.
