Biological Science Technician

Summary The purpose of the position is to perform a wide variety of complex biological science technical support functions. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Intermountain Region, Rocky Mountain National Park, Division of Resource Stewardship. Responsibilities The major duties of the Biological Science Technician position include, but are not limited to, the following: Collaborates with a variety of workgroups in different disciplines to minimize and respond to wildlife-human conflicts. Administers proper drug dosages to captured animals, collects biological samples, records animal condition, body measurements, affixes ear-tags and/or radio-collars, and monitors recovery.
