Job Description
Overview
We are looking to recruit a Billing & Control Officer in the Billing and Control Team within the Financial Assessment and Income Unit (FA&I) of Kent County Council. This is a permanent, full‑time (37 hours per week) position based at St Peters House in Broadstairs, with hybrid working supported but requiring office attendance at least once a week after an initial three‑month in‑person training period.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality advice and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Act as the first point of contact for invoice receipt, building rapport quickly with people supported and addressing a wide range of in‑depth queries in a professional, diplomatic and supportive manner.
- Support the administration of IT systems, providing technical support and advice.
- Participate in a comprehensive training programme to learn the requirements of the role.
