Job Summary
Under general direction of Program Manager teaches community health promotion programs with focus on Chronic Disease Programs. Programs are held at a variety of community locations in the Corewell Health service area across Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Performs a wide range of complex functions including following technical protocols or program curricula, using presentation and counseling skills, adapting education messages to a wide variety of audiences, entering program data, handling equipment/supplies and record keeping.
Essential Functions
+ Demonstrates knowledge of program curriculum.
+ Implements health promotion programs following proper procedures as outlined in training materials.
+ Ensure accurate results/information given to participant
+ Ensure participant safety and employee safety
+ Maintain accurate record keeping and safeguard equipment, supplies, data and monies.
