Bench Caster - Pottery
Adecco are seeking a skilled and reliable Bench Caster to join our client's production team based in ST4. This role involves producing high‑quality ceramic ware using slip casting techniques, working to established standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Location: ST4
Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30am - 1:30pm
Rate of pay: £13.77ph
Contract type: Temporary for up to 6 months
Responsibilities
- Bench casting ceramic items using moulds and clay
- Monitoring casting times to ensure consistent wall thickness and quality
- Safely emptying moulds and preparing cast items for finishing
- Inspecting cast ware for defects and reporting issues promptly
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing moulds correctly
- Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
