2x SENIOR EDUCATIONAL TEACHING ASSISTANT (Temporary)

Post 1 – Monday-Friday 8:40-12:15 (3.58 hours)
Post 2 – Monday-Friday 12:10-3:40 (3.5 hours)
For the right candidate, the posts may be combined into a single post (8:40-3:40 with a 30‑minute lunch break).

Start Date: September 2026
Contract ends: 31 August 2027
Hours: 17.5 or 17.9 per week (Term Time Only)
Location: Burnlee Road, Holmfirth, HD9 2LE
Grade: 7
Salary: £12,099 – £12,706

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and implement bespoke additional needs plans based on an EHCP.
• Deliver de‑escalation techniques and trauma‑informed care.
• Support a child with bespoke learning activities, initially away from the main classroom.
• Work with class teachers and other key staff to improve engagement and reduce exclusions.
• Record and monitor progress.
