Behaviour Support Assistant

Are you confident supporting children who require additional emotional and behavioural support?

We are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a primary school supporting pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges.

Duties:

• Providing 1:1 mentoring and intervention support
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Building trusting relationships with pupils
• Supporting attendance and engagement
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and families

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Be resilient, patient and proactive
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be passionate about supporting vulnerable pupils
