Behavior Consultant

Work Schedule Five (5) days per week as per the local school districts' schedule and calendar. Reports To Director of Special Education Salary Range According to the Terms of the Master Agreement with AFT Starting Date School Year (August 2026) Job Summary Provide consultative behavioral services that support positive student outcomes. Offer referrals to students and families, participate in IEP development, and advise special and general education staff across Clare-Gladwin RESD. Primary Functions Provide behavioral consultation and support for students with significant behavioral needs. Conduct and/or support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and safety plans. Deliver job-embedded coaching and professional development to teachers and paraprofessionals.
