Battery Testing - V&V Engineer

About the Role As a Battery Testing Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer, you will establish, scale, and own the daily testing operations for our high-voltage eVTOL battery systems. You will lead the transition of our battery packs from the design desk to rigorous physical validation. Your primary objective will be to master and execute qualification testing compliant with stringent aerospace standards, ensuring our energy storage systems are extraordinarily safe, reliable, and airworthy. What You Will Do Test Planning & Strategy: Author comprehensive Design Verification Plans (DVPs), test procedures, and test cases for battery cells, modules, and full high-voltage packs. Aerospace Compliance: Own the execution and documentation of regulatory testing, specifically targeting RTCA DO-311 (Minimum Operational Performance Standards for Rechargeable Lithium Battery Systems) and SAE ARP 7131 protocols.
