Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes and customer requests.
- Measure and combine ingredients accurately to create doughs and batters.
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Decorate and finish baked items with icing, glazes, and other toppings as needed.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure high-quality products.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and baking area, following health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience as a baker or in a related role (preferred).
- Knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and equipment.
