Job Summary
The Baker will prepares homemade baked products for campus dining halls, cash operations, and catering serving approximately 20,000 meals per week during the academic year and 7,000 during the summer months. Other responsibilities include:
+ Performing daily and weekly sanitation duties to maintain bakeshop area, equipment, and other areas of the dining operation
+ Assisting with development and testing of new recipes and products to help maintain records (i.e., recipes, production reports, HACCP , and sanitation reports)
+ Providing input to Head Baker regarding menu ideas, production, and service suggestions.
+ Preparing bakery items such as muffins, cookies, breads, rolls and desserts for all dining operations using approved recipes.
+ Consistently follow production quality standards and goals.
