Backend Engineer, Mission Operations (Real‑Time Systems)

Loft Orbital is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our Mission Operations Services team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services that power real-time satellite operations, with a focus on robust APIs and data storage.

Candidates should have strong experience with Docker, Django/Flask/FastAPI and GraphQL, plus PostgreSQL or time-series databases. Familiarity with Kubernetes and distributed systems is a plus, as is experience with real-time or space-related applications.
