Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, while adhering to all safety regulations.

Our bagging plant in Smithville screens and bags wood shavings. The equipment being utilized is mainly dry vans.

Drivers will be bunking in the truck during the week and expected home each weekend.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles for transport across various locations
• Conduct routine inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and maintenance activities
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
• Collaborate with warehouse or logistics teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
