Job Description

The Position:

The Terminal Operations team is a pivotal part of security operations at Launceston Airport and is looking for highly driven, passionate and available individuals to join them!


Reporting to the Security Manager, and working closely with the entire terminal operations workforce, the role will be responsible for high quality security functions across Launceston Airport. 

  • Responsible for consistent and standard security practices ensuring passengers and their possessions are checked and cleared prior to departure

  • Control access to security sensitive areas, undertaking physical searches, and identifying weapons, explosives and prohibited items

  • Efficiently co-ordinate the flow of passengers through security screening

  • Demonstrate effective communication and sound decision making skills

  • Providing consistent, high quality customer service

  • Work as part of a high performing team
