Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Program, modify, troubleshoot, and optimise Siemens PLC control systems
- Commission, test, and support automated machinery and production lines
- Diagnose and resolve faults on PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VSDs, and industrial communication networks
- Support the installation, integration, and commissioning of new automation systems
- Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and controls teams during machine build and commissioning
- Perform preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities to maximise equipment reliability and performance
- Maintain PLC backups, technical documentation, and system modifications
- Ensure automation systems comply with customer specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
