Automation & Systems Engineer – Linux Infra & IaC

European Southern Observatory in Chile seeks an IT Specialist Automation & Systems Management to join the IT Operations Chile Group. The role focuses on reliable, secure, automated operation of the systems environment across ESO observatories and connections to ESO Headquarters in Germany.

Ideal candidates have Linux/VMware administration experience (3 years), proficiency in Ansible, Git, Python and Bash, and strong troubleshooting skills. English and Spanish skills required.
