Automation Engineer

Requirements: BEng in Mechatronics (BTech/Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical will be considered) 5-8 years' experience in an automation environment 3-4 years' design experience with automated machines (mechanical, electrical, software, control) Experience with Beckhoff and Festo PLCs, HMI design, and Pneumatic Control Systems Experience with Festo Vision Systems and E-Plan Proficient in Profinet, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet IP protocols Willing and able to travel locally and internationally Own transport and valid driver's license Key Responsibilities: Support and improve existing control systems, PLC software, and HMI designs Oversee automation technicians and equipment repairs/installations Liaise with outsourced automation partners on new projects Provide manufacturing insight into new product development (DFM) Support local and international plant automation projects
