Automation Engineer | Boreham Wood | Permanent | Up to £59,000
We are partnering with a Financial Services provider to fill an Automation Engineer role.
The Role
- Leading the automation testing of web applications, maintaining regression test packs, tracking test automation activities assigned to automation engineers.
- Reporting test findings and defects to the Scrum team via Jira/Confluence and conducting re‑testing of defect fixes while finding ways to enhance or improve the process.
- Assisting/mentoring automation engineers to troubleshoot issues.
- Designing and executing clear, concise, and maintainable automated test suites.
The Candidate
- Relevant experience working with Selenium and Java.
- Good working knowledge of TDD, BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and the ability to write BDD frameworks using Cucumber and Gherkin.
