Audit senior associate

About the role

We are looking for an Audit Senior to lead SME audit engagements and progress towards Audit Manager. You will take ownership of your own portfolio, guide junior staff, and work directly with partners in a 20‑year‑established ACCA Gold Approved Employer firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements end‑to‑end – planning, fieldwork, completion and reporting.
• Review working papers prepared by junior and semi‑senior staff; provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Prepare and finalise financial statements and audit reports in compliance with ISA, MPERS and MFRS.
• Assess key risk areas including revenue recognition, related parties and going concern.
• Manage client communication throughout the engagement and resolve audit issues on a timely basis.
• Coordinate with the tax team on tax provisions and deferred tax.
