Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participating in the team planning and scoping of risk-based inspections.
- Inspecting planned financial statement audit engagements and firms quality management policies and procedures; discussing findings; consulting internally and preparing high quality reports in a timely manner.
- Preparing high quality inspection files with appropriate evidence of inspections in a timely manner.
- Regular interaction with audit firms, including engagement partners and firm leadership, to discuss inspection findings.
- Demonstrating independence and sound professional judgement in driving inspection matters to conclusion.
- Participating in relevant projects of the organization in fulfilling its mandate.
- Researching and consulting internally on technical auditing and financial reporting matters.
- Preparing reports and inspection outcomes for presentation to the Inspections Committee (INSCOM)...
