Exciting Opportunity:
- Become an integral of the Newark REDS team.
- We are looking for an Athletic Trainer who is excited to be part of a major program development that will become the leader in Athletic Training services of our High School Athletes.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES (Illustrative Only):
+ Renders first aide, including CPR, cleaning and bandaging of wounds, applying heat or cold to prompt healing
+ Attends athletic events, requires a flexible work schedule, evenings, weekends, as needed
+ Collaborates and communicates with the school physician/organization regarding health care and recommended treatment/rehabilitation of all athletic injuries
+ Oversees the management of and ordering of supplies and equipment
+ Maintains and administers prescribed rehabilitation and treatment
+ Provides instruction to coaches and athletes regarding prevention of athletic injuries
