Job Description
Purpose of the Role The Associate MEP Engineer is responsible for supporting the delivery of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of iColo's data center construction projects. The role assists in ensuring that MEP works are executed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project-specific cost, schedule, safety, and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Project Management:
Achieve a detailed understanding of contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedule.
Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
4-eyes check of prepared RFP and issuing to consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Prepare draft analysis for review of proposals from consultants, contractors & suppliers and prepare analysis.
Review and update responsibility matrix for projects and identifying any scope overlaps, gaps and creeps.
