This position will support the day-to-day metallography laboratory (met lab) operations and assisting other researchers in understanding the materials science issues of advanced manufacturing for United States Air Force (USAF) sustainment activities. Technologies this position will be working on include laser powder bed fusion (LPBF), cold spray (CS), additive friction stir deposition (AFSD) and applied corrosion technologies.
