Associate - Insolvency (Vancouver)

Litigation Associate with a focus on insolvency, foreclosures, and commercial litigation. Intermediate associates have conduct of their own files where appropriate. Assist senior counsel on more complex matters.

What you must have:

• 3 to 8 year call
• Previous experience in insolvency, foreclosures, and commercial litigation
• Experience with foreclosures and receiverships considered valuable
• Experience with proceedings under the BIA and CCAA considered valuable
• Ability to conduct files from beginning to end
• Well rounded and self motivated
• Sound judgment and solid work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Existing client base is an asset but not required
• Opportunity to grow practice and apply to become a shareholder in due course
• Salary/Rate Range: $143,000.00 - $182,000.00
