About the Opportunity

The Toronto Holocaust Museum seeks an Associate Director of Education to oversee the Museum’s Education department functions including school visits, teacher professional development, education resources, and museum educator management.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and delivery of all school-based programming, including field trips, workshops, survivor speaker sessions, and special initiatives, through supervision of the museum educator and coordinator.
• Oversee the Operations Coordinator on matters pertaining to school visits and volunteer training for school visits.
• Set strategic direction for school engagement, including programs, resources, and partnerships with school boards and educational stakeholders.
