Assistant Shift Engineer (Kitchener)

Position Description

The Chance This role is ideal for someone who holds a 4th Class ticket, or is close to obtaining one, and wants more than textbook knowledge.

You will be in the plant.

You will see how a steam facility operates in real time.

You will support acid production systems.

You will be part of a team that manages energy generation and chemical processing in a controlled, safety‑first environment.

If you want practical experience that strengthens your path toward higher class certification, this position offers exactly that.

Initial training schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

After training: Rotating shift schedule: Two weeks of 12‑hour day shifts, Two weeks of 12‑hour night shifts, Two weeks of 10‑hour day shifts (Monday to Thursday). Rotation repeats following the six‑week cycle.
