Job Description

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1, Vendor Management

  • Frequently use different channels to look for/vet out potential vendors.
  • Work with vendor/PM, track on sample status, approval process, testing requirement, and assure whole project on schedule
  • Able to hold vendor response timely. Vendor relationship management.
  • Mature sourcing skill, identify and develop suppliers for Medline products.

2, Price Management.

  • Edit and manage vendors' price list. Review various prices with purchasing manager and identify new project/backup plans, not limited to Tier1 but also Tier2 vendors when necessary
  • Independent negotiation skills
  • Good sense in cost breakdown and cost control

3, Product Management.

  • Well skilled on data, product, price analysis. Familiar with DOS/Tableau/SNP/purchasing data/Capacity analysis and utilize it to achieve efficient solutions.
