Assistant Play Fitter

We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as an Assistant Play Fitter.

Do you enjoy working outside and taking pride in keeping your local environments including play area and green spaces clean, tidy, and welcoming? If so, this could be the role you have been looking for.

We are looking to recruit, a self-motivated, fit, “handy person” who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty, to join our expanding Parks Maintenance team, with practical knowledge of maintaining outdoor environments. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our frontline services and helping to keep our play areas and green spaces at their best.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a hardworking and supportive team, carrying out basic inspections and maintenance on our play equipment and surrounding green spaces across the town.
