Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Storekeeper in preparing purchase orders and obtaining authorization from the Pharmacist.
• Assist the Senior Storekeeper in generating Goods Received Notes (GRN).
• Attend to emergency calls related to drug requirements.
• Source medications in cases of insufficient stock or emergency requirements during the absence of the Chief Pharmacist, Pharmacist, or Senior Storekeeper.
• Understand and carry out pharmaceutical care in line with the hospital's Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Objectives.
• Understand the Pharmacy Service's organizational structure and workflow.
• Attend meetings to discuss issues and matters related to pharmacy operations.
• Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for all transfers and issues, except for emergency items.
• Ensure correct tagging and accurate delivery of goods to the wards.
