It was started in as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. Assistant Medical Counselor II-Grade 8
The applicants must:
Possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical/Clinical Psychology or Higher National

Diploma (HND) in Counselling from a recognized institution

Possess a VCT Certificate

Be registered Kenya Counselling Association (KCA) or a recognized professional body

All applicants who possess Drug and Substance abuse Certificate will have an added advantage
