Job Description
Assistant General Counsel, Product Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid). The role may also be based in Minneapolis, Dallas, or Toronto.
Role Overview Provide practical legal counsel to Product, Technology, and Marketing teams, advising on legal, regulatory, and reputational risks across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Advise product and business partners on legal issues from concept through launch for new products, features, and functionality.
Assess legal, regulatory, and reputational risks and provide business‑oriented guidance.
Review and advise on marketing campaigns, product messaging, sales communications, marketing assets, and updates across digital properties.
Develop and implement regulatory compliance best practices, especially in AI, consumer protection, advertising, intellectual property, and related laws.
