Job Description

Summary
The Department of Recreational Services is seeking student staff to supervise the Recreation Center for the fall and winter semesters. Staff will be responsible for helping create a welcoming and safe environment, and must have prior experience working in a recreation facility or similar setting with minimal supervision. Shifts will be early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities*
Opening and closing the building
Providing quality customer service
Understanding front desk and weight room policies and procedures. 
Additional responsibilities include assisting student staff while responding to emergencies and providing first aid when necessary. 
Required Qualifications*
Must be a current UM-Flint student
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
Ability to obtain CPR/AED First Aid certification.
