We are hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing of our Nursing Home in Co Kerry Responsibilities Support the Person in Charge (PIC) in the day-to-day management of the nursing home. Assist in managing staffing, rosters, and workforce planning. Lead, mentor, and supervise the nursing team, promoting clinical excellence and best practices. Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, regulations, and organisational policies. Maintain a safe, high-quality, person-centred care environment. Monitor clinical governance, quality assurance, and risk management processes. Support audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives. Act as Person in Charge (PIC) in the absence of the PIC. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
